Amruta Khanvilkar Biography 
Amruta Khanvilkar is an actress of Marathi and Hindi cinema. She is also a famous television anchor. She is an established actress of Marathi cinema and known as an accomplished dancer. She has also appeared in music videos like Aye Hip Hopper by Ishq Bector. Mumbai Salsa, Hat Trick, Contract and Phoonk are the Bollywood movies in which she worked. She hosts the program, Comedy Express, on ETV-Marathi and co-hosts the dancing reality show "Dance Maharastra Dance" aired on Zee Marathi along with 'Siddharth Chandekar'. Saade Maade Teen (2007) is one of her noted Marathi movies. She was nominated for Exciting New Face - Max Stardust Awards in 2009 for Bollywood movie based on black magic - Phoonk.
She was born in the city of Pune on November 23, 1984 in a middle class Maharastrian family. She was born to Raju and Gauri Khanvilkar and has one younger sister named Aditi. Amruta was a part of “Zee a talent hunt show which was aired on Zee TV in 2004 where she finished third. Then she worked in Sahara One's TV Series Ada followed by series Time Bomb 9/11. Then she anchored "Bollywood tonight" which aired on Zee Music. It was followed by her successful debut in Marathi cinema, Golmaal released in 2006. She played lead role in Saade Maade Teen (2007) which gave her success and popularity overnight. She also participated in Marathi dance based reality show, Ekapeksha Ek.
She is known as a good dancer and most recently the song "Wajle ki Bara" for the Marathi movie Natarang was the film’s highlight. She also did an item number in 2013 Bollywood movie, Himmatwala.
