Amritha Meera Vijayan Biography 
Amritha Meera Vijayan is an Indian film actress associated with Malayalam cinema. She plays supporting roles on Malayalam screen. She made her screen debut with Action Hero Biju in 2016 co-staring Nivin pauley. Ore Mukham and Aadupuliyattam are her other releases. All these three movies were released in 2016. She is a software engineer turned actress. She is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer too, who started training at the age of 5.
Amritha Meera Vijayan hails from Kozhikode, Kerala, and was born to K.Vijayan and P.G. Meera. Her younger brother works with Indian Air Force. She was brought up in Bangalore, where she completed her schooling and engineering studies. She completed her BSC and MSC in electronics from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore, before joining Cognizant Technological Solutions as software professional. However she quit her job to pursue acting. She worked in IT field for three years. She is also a trained classical dancer. She feels that experience in classical dance has helped to hone her acting skills.
She started shooting a few of her dance videos. One of her friends watched her video on classical dance, and suggested her to meet director Abrid Shine. She attended the audition for Action Hero Baiju, and got selected for a supporting role. After the movie became a huge hit, which included a bunch of new actors, her role also got noticed. Later she signed Mea Culpa — an anthology of three stories, where she was supposed to play female lead in one of them. As she had experience with shooting dance videos, she didn’t feel nervous while facing camera for the first time.
