Amrit Maan Biography 
Amrit Maan is a popular singer, lyricist and actor associated with Punjabi cinema and music at present. As a singer he shot to fame with the hit single Desi Da Drum in 2015. As an actor he gained recognition through his debut film Channa Mereya, Punjabi remake of Marathi blockbuster, Sairat. He played the meaty supporting role of Balli in this romantic drama. He also rendered his voice for "Lalkara" song in the movie. Pagg Di Pooni from Vaapsi in 2016 marked his debut as a playback singer in the industry.
Amrit Maan hails from Goniana Mandi, a suburban town in Bathinda District in the Indian state of Punjab. He celebrates his birthday on 10th June, and Gemini is his sun sign. He started his professional career as a song writer in year 2014. His first song as a lyricist - Jatt Fire Karda was sung by none other than big star of Punjabi film and music industry, Diljit Dosanjh. The song also turned to be an instant chartbuster. From there on he turned a busy song writer of Punjabi independent music industry. He penned lyrics for super hit singles such as Yaar Jundi de, Haan Kargi etc.
He released his debut song Desi Da Drum in 2015. With this single, he turned a successful singer as well. From there on he started giving importance to singing career as well, and acting just followed. For the debut role in Channa Mereya, he received two nominations. He was nominated for Best Debut Actor Filmfare Awards Punjabi and also Best Negative Role at PTC Punjabi Film Awards. Laung Laach, Aate Di Chidi and Do Dooni Panj are other acting roles.
