Amrapali Gupta Biography

Amrapali Gupta is a noted television actress associated with Hindi entertainment network. She started her acting career with Star Plus series, Hatim in 2004 where she played the role of Maya. Later she has portrayed several memorable roles on small screen. Currently she plays the role of Anamika, Queen of the Nag Vansh in the popular series on incarnation - Adhuri Kahaani Hamari, aired on &TV. She is married to her co-star Yash Sinha from Teen Bahuraaniyaan since 2012.

She was involved with theater during her early days. Amrapali has played different types of roles on mini screen. She mostly plays supporting roles. She played antagonist in Qubool Hai, which earned her Zee Rishtey Awards in 2013 for best villain. Her role as Bindiya in Teen Bahuraaniyaan earned her Favourite Bahu award at Zee Rishtey Awards 2007. Qubool Hai is her most memorable role till now.

She hails from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. She was born on 28th May, 1988. She worked as a salesgirl at a younger age of 16, selling air tight containers. She was involved in theater during her early days, and one of her friends suggested her to attend audition for a Doordarshan series. She got the lead role for the series, Khushiyaan. Before that she has played a brief role for one series, Hatim. Since then she is fully active in the television scene for more than a decade. She has appeared in the reality shows, Ek se badkar ek, Nach Baliye 6 etc.

Pyaar Ke Do Naam: Ek Raadha, Ek Shyaam, Teen Bahuraaniyaan, Qubool Hai, Adhuri Kahaani Hamari, Agnipareeksha Jeevan Ki – Gangaa, Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna, Neem Neem Shahad Shahad, Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev etc are among her noted roles on small screen.
