Aman Abdullah Biography

Aman Abdullah is a noted child artist associated with Tamil cinema. He is best known for playing veteran actor Kamal Hassan’s son in ‘Thoongaa vanam’, released in 2015. His supporting role was well noticed and he remained in spotlight for a while. The movie also marked his acting debut as a child actor at the age of 13. He is a student of Sherwood High. ‘Thoongaa Vanam’ is his single movie release. A remake of the French film Nuit Blanche, the movie received favourable reviews and was a box office hit. His character name in the film was Vasu Diwakar, the son of CK Diwakar IRS.

Aman Abdulla hails from Kozhikode, Kerala. He was born into a Muslim family. Kunahmed and Gazeena Sulu are his parents. He studies in Sherwood Hall Senior Secondary School, Chennai. His hobbies include basketball and dramatics. He has acted in a number of plays in school, and it helped him to grab his film role in Tamil movies. He attended the audition of the movie, and that’s how he got selected for Kamal Hassan’s son’s role. The movie directed by Rajesh M. Selva starring Kamal Haasan, also included Prakash Raj, Trisha Krishnan, Kishore, Sampath Raj, Yugi Sethu, Asha Sarath and Madhu Shalini in pivot roles.

Associated with school plays since young, his drama teacher loved his acts a lot. Also it was his drama teacher who spotted the ad of audition in facebook, and he felt that young Aman perfectly fits for this role. So he went for audition, and its director tested him on a variety of things and also gave him situations to act in. At the beginning of film shooting, though he was a bit nervous to work with Kamal, more he mingled with the actor, more fearless young Aman became.
