Alok Kejriwal Biography

Alok Kejriwal is an Indian businessman and a serial entrepreneur who co-founded Games2win, one of the top 20 online gaming businesses in the world. He started this company aside Mahesh Khambadkone, a gaming technocrat and its headquarters is at Mumbai. Mahesh Khambadkone currently serves as the COO of the company. Over 20 million unique users across the world use this game playing platform. This game site includes the popular game, Parking Frenzy, which was ranked #1 on the US iTunes Appstore. Other popular games include Fab Tattoo Artist, Supermom, Best Friends Forever, Turbo Cricket etc.


Alok Kejriwal was born on 25 December 1968 in Mumbai. He was born into a business family. His father owns a socks manufacturing company, Hindustan Hosiery Industries. His school and college education were completed at Mumbai. He holds a graduation in Commerce. Soon after graduation he joined family business, where he worked for next 10 years. After that at the age of 32, he resigned his job to set up his own business venture. Thus he started an online venture - Contests2Win in 1998 which handled SMS contests for various TV shows. Following the success of the first season of the reality singing talent hunt show - Indian Idol, Alok’s business venture shot up.


He set up a mobile venture Mobile2win in 2003 which was acquired by Walt Disney in China three years later. Following Contests2Win (1998), Mobile2win (2001) and Media2win (2004), he set up his fourth company Games2win in 2007. He also founded TheRodinhoods – an online community of entrepreneurs in the year 2010. Initially launched as in 1998, current issues were the subjects for its initial games. It launched a talent platform for gamers called Temple of 7 in 2007.
