Allu Sirish Biography

Allu Sirish is an upcoming actor of Telugu film industry who made his debut in the year 2013 with the bilingual social drama – Gauravam. But he is better known as the younger brother of south Indian sensation – Allu Arjun. Born into a family of strong filmy background, Allu too chose films as his career. Allu is the grandson of great comedian of Telugu screen - Allu Rama Lingaiah. Noted film producer Allu Arvind is his father. Megastars of Telugu film industry – Chiranjeevi, Nagendra Babu and Pawan Kalyan are his paternal uncles while actor Ram Charan is his cousin.

Allu Sirish was born in Chennai on 30 May 1987 to film producer Allu Arvind. He is the younger brother of Allu Arjun. A nephew of Chiranjeevi, Sirish completed graduation in Mass Communication from R.D National College. Sirish started his film career as a child actor in the year 1990 in the Bollywood film, Pratibandh, which marked Bollywood debut of his uncle Chiranjeevi as well. After 6 years he played a role in Telugu film - Mayabazaar. He was a co-producer of 2007 Bollywood hit – Ghajini, aside his father, the movie which broke all collection records of Bollywood till then. After graduation, he was serious about movies. He learnt martial arts and was a student at Kreating Characters Institute in Mumbai. It was during that time he became a co-producer of Ghajani.

His first break to acting was given by Tollywood filmmaker, Radha Mohan who offered him the lead role for the bilingual – Gouravam. The social drama on honour killing, the movie received mixed reviews from critics. The movie was produced by film actor Prakash Raj and Yami Gautam played the female lead. In 2014, his second movie - Kotha Janta was released. He was paired with Regina Cassandra and the movie was declared a hit.
