Alamgir Khan Biography 
Alamgir Khan is an Indian playback singer, who is also associated with independent music. He is associated with Punjabi and Bollywood music, and has also sung numerous jingles for ad world. "Fyaar Pe Duniya" for 2018 Bollywood film Manmarziyaan is his most recent chartbuster hit song. His jingle 'Mauka Mauka' for ICC Cricket World Cup by Star Sports was an instant hit. 'Desi Beats' in Salman Khan Starrer 'Bodyguard' released in 2011 was his first break to Bollywood, and it was given by music director Himesh Reshammiya known for giving breaks to newcomers of the industry. Before that his voice was used by the same composer for the movie, Damadamm as one among the singers of its title track.
Alamgir Khan hails from Patiala district, Punjab. He celebrates his birthday on 17th March. He was born in Lalauda village in Nabha city into a family with folk music tradition. His ancestors and same generation artists performed folk music as well as Patiala tradition of Hindustani music. He was initiated to the world of music by his father Ustad Murli Khan at the age of 14. He has been associated with his grandfather and great-grandfather too, who also taught him music. During his initial days he performed as an artist in Kalagram residence in Chandigarh. Alamgir also received training from playback singer Sukhwinder Singh and many other singers before he forayed into singing with full swing.
Initially his voice was first heard in Himesh Reshammiya starrer Damadamm (2011) in its title track. He got his next break through 2011 Salman Khan starrer, Bodyguard composed by Himesh Reshammiya. His voice was used for "Desi Beat" (Punjabi Hip-Hop Mix). Khan shot to instant fame with his song 'Mauka Mauka', as a part of a musical campaign for ICC Cricket World Cup in 2015. Khiladi 786, Action Jackson, Shaadi Ke Side Effects, Parched, Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se, Manmarziyaan, Ek Paheli-Leela, Welcome to Karachi etc are his works later.
