Akriti Kakkar Biography 
Akriti Kakkar is an Indian singer, born and brought up in Delhi. She has sung many hit Bollywood songs as a playback singer. Her leading numbers include – Dil Vich from Chup Chupke, Thakarke from Golmaal returns, Dil Kholke let’s rock from We are family, Mohabbat Aapse for Aa Dekhein Zara, Aajaanejaa from Hello Darling, Dekhutujhe to payaraaye of Apne, Khudaya Khairand Mar jaani from Billu, Move your body- Freaky freakyraat of Kismat Connection, Teekhiteekhi of Mirch, I Love Amreeka from Tere bin Laden, Title track from JohnyGaddar, Aanan Fanan from Namastey London and Insha Alla from Welcome.
She has also sung for a few Marathi, Bangladesh and Bengali film songs. Her first solo album was released in the year 2010, titled Akriti which comprised of 7 songs. 3 of its tracks were composed by Shankar Mahadevan while the rest by herself. At present she is the celebrity judge of Sa re ga ma pa lil champs'2013, aside Kumar Sanu. This reality show is aired on Zee Bangla and it also shares a few more celebrities as judges. She also hosts Antakshari.
She was born in New Delhi on July 14, 1987. Akriti has two twin sisters Sukriti and Prakriti Kakkar. Kakkar started her musical journey at the age of 5. Formal lessons of Hindustani music were taught to her by her mother, followed by Guru Byomkesh Banerjee. Cham Se Vo AaJaye for the movie Dus marked her Bollywood debut as a playback singer. After that she got opportunity to sing for almost all leading music composers of Bollywood.
