Akhil Sachdeva Biography 
Akhil Sachdeva is a music composer, lyricist and singer associated with Bollywood films and independent music. He made a sensational debut in Bollywood as a playback singer through the movie, Badrinath Ki Dulhania in 2017. He composed the song and rendered his voice for the chartbuster song, "Sun Mere Humsafar" aside Mansheel Gujral. He sang its reprised version aside Alia Bhatt too. "Sun Mere Humsafar" was one of the biggest songs of the year. He also marked his debut as a lyricist through this song featuring Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. In 2018, he released one single - Gal Sun. He penned down its lyrics aside Manoj Muntashir.
Akhil was attracted to music since young, and he was inspired a lot by his grandmother who believed in his talents and motivated him always with positive thoughts. Sachdeva started as the lead vocalist of the Delhi-based music band, Nasha in 2011. It was the first Sufi Rock band of the country. His Bollywood journey started when he met director Shashank Khaitan at a party, who was then planning for a sequel of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. They met at Huma Qureshi's Eid dinner, and it gave Sachdeva a big break to Bollywood.
Badrinath Ki Dulhania was one of the biggest albums of the year 2017, and received many awards and nominations for music. The album was nominated at many awards including Filmfare and Screen awards for the best musical album of the year. Sachdeva won Best Playback Singer award at the prestigious Zee Awards for this sensational song, which went viral over net. He also received a nomination at Filmafre awards in the best playback singer category. Yet the singer has to struggle every day in Bollywood for offers. He is a singer first, though he has composed songs and wrote lyrics.
