Ajay Nagrath Biography 
Ajay Nagrath is an Indian actor associated with Hindi television. He is the son of Bollywood actor Anil Nagrath. His role of "Pankaj" in the investigation series, C.I.D earned him recognition. Ajay Nagrath was earlier known for his fat figure in the industry and has done many comic roles. His most notable role was a fat child in the popular sitcom, Shriman Shreemati in the 1990s. However he got unhappy with his physical appearance, participated in Biggest Loser Jeetega contest, and lost 60 kgs for the show. Thus his weight came down to 82. Ajay Nagrath is still active in television, and has done a few Bollywood films before.
Ajay Nagrath was born into a family with filmy background. His father Anil Nagrath has done brief roles in Hindi cinema, and worked as an assistant director in the industry. He was seen in Amitabh movies of 1980s such as Mard (1985), Gangaa Jamunaa Saraswathi (1988) and Coolie (1983). Ajay was born in Mumbai on 16 February 1986. He has appeared in Doordarshan shows in the 1990s as a child artist in the 1990s. Because of obesity, he usually portrayed a teenager boy with comic shades. Though his physical appearance earned him more roles in films and television in the 1990s, slowly he began to recognize the need to stay fit and strong.
At a time he used to be a couch potato – in his own words. He was a part of the shows – Kanoon, God and Gun, Sreeman Sreemati etc. He has also done Bollywood films like Pardes and Yeh Hai Jalwa, sharinh screen space with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan respectively. Ek Aur Ek Gyarah, Milenge Milenge, and God and Gun are a few more. His name was credited as Master Ajay Nagrath as a child artist. Most recently he made a cameo appearance for Shah Rukh starrer, Jab Harry Met Sejal.
