Aditya Om Biography

Aditya Om is a film actor, screenwriter and filmmaker belonging to Telugu cinema. He is also a lyricist and film producer. He has also produced and directed plays and TV shows. Yet he is mostly associated with film industry. He played parallel lead in 2002 Telugu romantic film, Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo which was his first big screen appearances. Since then he appeared in more than 25 films belonging to different languages including Hindi, Telugu and Tamil, and a few of them are bilinguals. He is also an educator who strives for better education programs through his NGO, 'Edulightment'.

Aditya Om was born on 5 October 1980 on Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Currently he resides in Mumbai.  He marked his screen debut with Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo, a 2002 Telugu film written, directed and produced by YVS Chowdary under the banner Bommarillu. He played parallel lead in the film which had an ensemble star cast. After that he acted, produced and directed many films in Hindi, Telugu and also played lead roles in most of them. He also made short films and documentaries.

Till now he has played lead role in more than 25 Telugu films, which include many independent films as well. He also appears in commercial films. Apart from film journey, he is also associated with social service and charity work. He has adopted a village Cherupally in Telangana. Through his organisation 'Edulightment', he is working towards educating poor. He also constructed a library there and has opened digital service center to improve the quality of life of living folk. As an actor he was most recently seen in 2019 films - Damini Villa and Young Star, and a few more.
