Aditi Sarangdhar Biography

Aditi Sarangdhar is a popular Marathi actress who works in movies, theatre and television serials. She has excelled in both serious and comic roles. Among her television works, she is quite popular for the role of Saloni Deshmukh in TV serial Lakshya aired on Star Pravah. As a stage actress, she is best known for her performance in Marathi play ‘Proposal’ which earned her numerous awards also. She is associated with movies since 2004, and earned recognition through television serials. She has also played lead roles in Marathi movies, though she is quite busy with television and theatre. In the 2013 movie – Mohar, she played the lead role.

She was born in a middle class family in Kalyan, Maharashtra. She got married to Suhas Revandekar in 2013. Since childhood she dreamt to become an actress. She got associated with stage plays quite young and performed in Nishikant Kamat's experimental play 'Litmus'. It was her first play as an actress. While performing for the play she was spotted by Kanchan Adhikari who offered her a role in TV serial - ‘Damini'. ‘All The Best’ – was one of her earliest appreciated works and she appeared in television serials like ‘Vadalvaat’ which made her a household name in Maharashtra. She has acted in more than 15 television serials till now.

She played a bold role in the Marathi play ‘Proposal’ which earned her accolades. ‘Graceful’ is her latest play, where she plays Veda, an actress, who is in relationship with a 40+ writer, a married man. Lakshya – is her most popular television role. She likes comedy though she has not received many offers belonging to this genre. She performed comedy during Zee Comedy awards. She has signed a Bollywood film and also a Marathi film titled - ‘Bazaar’ & ‘Malak’.
