Aditi Rao Hydari is an Indian actress who works for Bollywood as well as south Indian movies. With the release of the movie, Yeh saali zindagi (2011), she drew attention with its intimate scenes with Arunoday Singh. She had 22 lip locks with her co-star breaking the record created by Mallika Sherawat and Himanshu Malik in Khwahish long back in 2003. Though this movie was a flop, it gave big break to both these actors. Years later, Aditi created a new history and the film was successful at box office too. This movie starring Irrfan Khan and Chitrangada Singh in the leading roles received positive reviews from critics as well. She was the leading actress of Murder 3, where she was paired opposite Randeep Hooda of Jism 2 fame.

Aditi Rao Hydari was born in Hyderabad and both her parents belong to Royal family, Muhammad Saleh Akbar Hydari and J. Rameshwar Rao. She is the great granddaughter of Akbar Hydari and the grand niece of Muhammad Saleh Akbar Hydari. She started Bharatnatyam at the age of 6.

Hydari made her acting debut with the 2007 Tamil film Sringaram – theme being classical dance, where she played the leading role as Devdasi. The movie was critically appreciated and received National awards as well. But the movie was released after Malayalam flick. She starred opposite Mammootty in Malayalam flick - Prajapathi, released in the year 2006. She appeared in supporting roles of Bollywood movies – Delhi 6, Yeh saali zindagi and Rockstar. Yet it was due to the sensation that created through Yeh saali zindagi, she drew quick attention. She played leading role opposite Ali Zafar in the movie - London, Paris, New York. She rendered her voice to sing two songs as well. But the movie was a commercial failure and received mixed responses. Now she is working in the Hindi remake of Pokkiri Raja – Boss and it’s scheduled to release on October 16, 2013. Akshay Kumar plays the leading role.
