Adarsh Shinde Biography

Adarsh Shinde is a Marathi singer, associated with Marathi film songs and Ambedkarite songs, also known as Bhim Geete. He is a disciple of famous playback singer Suresh Wadkar. Some of his popular Bhim Geete are Kalya Ramacha Darwaja, Angathi Sonyachi Botala, Bhim Ha Jagat Pahila Haay, Bhimrao Ek Number, Jaibhim Tu Bol, Bhimrao Kadadala, Nau Kotichi Maata Ramai, Bhim Ji Ka Jalwa and Bhima Koregaon. Adarsh Shinde has also rendered songs for Marathi films such as Laal Ishq, Classmates, Dagadi Chawl, YZ, Poshter Girl, Tu Hi Re, Dagadi Chawl, Narbachi Wadi and a few more. Till now he has recorded more than 1500 songs in Marathi and Hindi combined.

 

Adarsh Shinde was born into a musical family in Mumbai on 7 March 1988. His father, Anand Shinde, and grandfather, Prahlad Shinde, were also singers. Both are associated with rustic songs, while Adarsh sings for urban characters in movies. In fact the family together recorded a song for movie, Priyatama in 2014. Adarsh started taking musical lessons at the age of 10 from his grandfather and uncle and later continued musical training under famous playback singer Suresh Wadkar. Adarsh is always being compared with his father and grandfather for the amount of work they have done earlier.

 

Apart from singing he is also associated with Marathi singing reality show, Sangeet Samrat. He was a celebrity judge for two seasons of this popular show. In fact he came to limelight after participating in a singing reality show, where he was chosen as winner. His family is influenced by B. R. Ambedkar and follows Buddhism. In fact he had a Buddhist wedding ceremony for his marriage with Neha Lele in 2015 at Mumbai.
