Acharya Narendra Bhooshan Biography 
Acharya Narendra Bhooshan was an Indian writer and scholar from the state of Kerala. He was an Indian linguist, Vedic Scholar, scholar of Sanskrit, Malayalam, Hindi and English languages, orator, writer, translator, journalist and publisher. He was also the founder editor of Arshanadam magazine. He served as the Kulapathi of Saraswathi Vaidika Gurukulam- Chenganoor and Upakulapathi of Maharshi Dyananda Vaidika Gurukulam in Vaikkom. Apart from original works, he has also done translations, commentary etc. He has served as a member in the selection committee for Academy Award of Kerala Sahitya Academy, and was a recipient of numerous honours too.
Acharya Narendra Bhooshan was born on 22 May 1937 in Chengannur. Krishna Pillai and Thankamma were his parents. He completed his schooling from his village, and later graduated from NSS Hindu College, Changanasserry. After studies he has taken different jobs before moving to Dayananda Brahma Mahavidyalaya at Hissar for learning purposes. He studied Vedic literature and once returned continued with Vedic studies and also published more than a hundred books. "Chathurveda Samhitha" is regarded as his magnum opus.
He started as an office assistant in an Export Company in Thiruvananthapuram in 1957. He also worked as teacher for brief periods. He promoted studies related to the Vedas and Upanishads, and also started Arshanadam magazine for this purpose. He served as its editor. He also started 'Veda Press' to publish materials and books related to Vedic studies in Malayalam.He admitted all Hindus irrespective of their caste, in his Gurukulam. As an orator he delivered about 5000 discourses on various topics mainly on Vedas and Vedic practices. He also introduced postal tuition classes for Sanskrit in Kerala.
