Abijeet Duddala Biography

Abijeet Duddala is an upcoming young actor of Telugu cinema. He debut big screen in 2012 with the movie, Life is beautiful where he was paired opposite Shriya Saran. Anjala Zaveri and Amala Akkineni were seen in supporting roles. The movie directed by famous director, Sekhar Kammula was declared a box office hit. His second movie is Areyrey, which is scheduled to get released soon. He is paired with Anisha Ambrose in this delayed project.

He was born in 1988 in Hyderabad to Manmohan Duddala and Lakshmi Prasanna Duddala. His family is in construction business. His ancestors reached the city in association with the construction of The Charminar in the late 1500’s and got settled here. Abijeet studied at Chaitanya Vidyalaya and Rishi Valley School and finally graduated in Aeronautical Engineer from Mallareddy College, Hyderabad. While he was doing his last year, he gave the auditions for ‘Life is beautiful’ and got selected for the lead role. He was contacted by an assistant director through facebook. Though the movie was a delayed release and received mixed response from critics, it proved to be a box office hit. Amala Akkineni played the role of his mother in this movie.

His second project, Areyrey is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and produced by Neelima Tirumalasetti. In this movie, he plays the role of a lover boy. He has already said ‘No’ to more than 50 scripts until he got his second project. At present he is focused on his acting classes in Puducherry and my professional dance lessons in Mumbai. He has joined hands with a city- based NGO that spreads awareness about traffic regulations and pedestrian safety.
