Abhinav Shukla Biography

Abhinav Shukla is an actor associated with Hindi movies and TV serials. He appeared in Salman Khan starrer Jai Ho and the thriller – Roar. He played the title role of Pundit in Roar, directed by Kamal Sadanah. He appeared in television serials show casted in ZEE, Colors, SAB TV and STAR TV. Jersey No. 10, Geet, Hitler Didi, Badalte Rishton Ki Dastaan, Jaane Kya Baat Hui, Chotti Bahu – Sindoor Bin Suhagan and Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai are his noted roles on television. He was also seen in Survivor India (season 1) aired on Star Plus.

 

Abhinav Shukla was born on 27 September 1982 at LudhianaPunjab. His father is an entomologist at Punjab Agricultural University and mother, a school teacher. Shukla is interested in adventure activities and trekking since younger days. In 2014, he got stuck on a ledge of a rock face at Matheran forests of Maharashtra and finally rescued by some rock climbers. He holds an Electronics Engineering from Lala Lajpat Rai Institute of Engineering and Technology, Moga. He was active in sports and also other college activities like exhibitions.

 

Soon after his completion of engineering course in 2004, he got selected as Mr. Best Potential in Gladrags Mr. India Contest. He also finished at 6th place at Grasim Mr. India same year. He was also appreciated for best physique and became a runner-up for the subtitle.  Very soon he entered television. Jersey No. 10 for SAB TV marked his television debut and he played the character role of Arjun Rai. In 2014, Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans was released where Shukla played the title role. Audio launch of the movie was done by none other than Salman Khan.
