Abhinav Mukund Biography 
Abhinav Mukund is an Indian cricketer who plays for India A and Tamil Nadu. He plays as Opening Batsman for his team, and occasionally bowls also. He is a left-handed batsman. He currently serves as the team captain of Tamil Nadu domestic cricket. He has played 5 test matches for team India apart from 21 T20 matches for national team. He has also served as the captain of India A on several occasions. As a team member of IPL matches, he has been associated with Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore. He scored 211 runs from 5 test matches for team India, and also 439 runs from 21 T20 matches. He has also played 109 first class matches.
Abhinav Mukund hails from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and he was born in the year 1990. While playing domestic cricket for Tamil Nadu, he joined India Under-19 squad's tour in Malaysia. 300 not out is his highest runs in first class cricket, and he scored it in a match against Maharashtra. He also put up an opening partnership of 462 runs with Murali Vijay, which helped him to earn a berth at West Indies tour for Indian team in 2011. He was also selected for England tour following this series.
He marked his Test debut on 20 June 2011 v West Indies and played his 5th and last test match on 26 July 2017 v Sri Lanka. In 2015, he completed 100 first class matches and still plays domestic cricket serving as the team captain of Ranji matches for Tamil Nadu. He has also been included in the Indian team which toured Sri Lanka and Bangladesh last year. He was a member of Chennai Super Kings IPL team during the period 2008-2012, and Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2013 season.
