Aayushi Dholakia Biography

Aayushi Dholakia is a successful young model and international beauty pageant winner. In 2019 she was crowned as Miss Teen International 2019 on 19 December 2019 in New Delhi. She is the first Indian to win the title of Miss Teen International, in the past 27 years since it commenced. She was crowned by outgoing queen Odalys Duarte of Mexico. The class 11th student trained in Kathak Classical dance also won Best in National Costume award and Best in Speech Award. Miss Teen International is an annual beauty pageant being held in India for teenage girls across the world aged between 14 and 19, and is the oldest running teen pageant in the world.

Aayushi Dholakia hails from Vadodara, Gujarat. She started her modelling career comparatively at a young age.  She was a class 11th student trained in Kathak Classical dance when she was crowned as Miss Teen International 2019 in December. She went on to win Best in National Costume award and Best in Speech Award. Yessenia Garcia from Paraguay became the First Runners-Up and Anicia Gaothusi from Botswana became the Second Runners-Up in this international beauty pageant.

She was asked the question, "Do you think the world would be a better place if we just had one world government and no separate countries?" in the final round, for which she impressed the judges with ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ concept of Indian culture. 16-year old Vadodara based Aayushi Dholakia won the first ever crown for India in 27 years. She also won the sub-titles - Miss Congeniality, Miss Environment and Miss Beauty with Cause. She started a Happy go Happy Club at the age of 14 and is the Interact District Representative for Rotary District 3060.
