Aarav Nafeez Biography

Aarav is an Indian model from Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu who came to limelight with the first season of Bigg Boss (Tamil) hosted by Kamal Hassan. Till now, he has appeared in over 100+ TV ads, and has been featured in Tamil film, Saithan in a brief role. His relationship with Bigg Boss co-star Oviya has received much hype, and Oviya’s exit from the show was also linked with cold response of Aarav’s to Oviya’s open love proposal. Oviya was the most popular contender for the winner title.

Aarav was born into a Muslim family in 1988. His real name is Nafeez Kizar. His father is a college professor at Trichy Govt Law College. Aarav spent his childhood at Trichy where he completed his school studies, and for higher studies he moved to Mumbai. He completed Mechanical Engineering degree at Chennai. He was introduced to the entertainment sector by celebrity photographer, V.S. Anandhakrishna, and very soon Aarav entered modelling field.

Though he worked in a couple of private companies after his engineering course, he quit the job to pursue a career in entertainment field. Since school days he was interested in acting, and has also done a few school plays. He also directed a few of them. Soon after he entered modelling field, he changed his name to Aarav, and since the entry to Bigg Boss show, he has become a household name among Tamil television audiences.

Apart from a successful modelling career, he has shown his face in a couple of Tamil films, Saitaan released in 2016, and Meendum Vaa Arugil Vaa in 2017. Since he got linked with his Bigg Boss co-contestant Aviya, he has been in spotlight, mostly for wrong reasons. After Oviya’s exit from the show, she openly told media that she love Aarav so much that she was not able to control her feelings, and that’s why she want to go. Earlier in the house, she has confessed her love towards Aarav. But Aarav openly showed his discomfort to Oviya’s intimacy and asked her not to behave so before others.
