Aanchal Kumar is an established model from Chandigarh. She has done cameo roles in a few Bollywood movies like Fashion and Bluff master and both are successful movies too. She has participated in the celebrity reality show on Colors TV, Bigg Boss season 4 hosted by Salman Khan. But she was voted out on the sixth week. She has also done few music videos. Jagjit Singh's 'Aaina' and Hans Raj Hans's 'Mukhra Tumahra’ are the popular ones. In 2013, she got married to Anupam Mittal, the entrepreneur and CEO of People Group which owns businesses such as Shaadi.com matrimonial site.

She was born in Chandigarh in 1979. She wanted to become model since her childhood days. Aanchal shot to success when she won the Gladrags Mega Model Contest in the year 1999. After that she became a ramp model and has also endorsed products like Rexona, Sunsilk, and Bombay Dyeing. She made in big in modelling after Gladrags Model Contest win in 1999. She appeared in a few music videos as well as Bollywood films. Though her roles were short, they were noticed. She made a cameo appearance as a model in noted movie based on fashion industry – Fashion. She has mostly done model shots in movies. She appeared in "Bluffmaster!" playing Dancer in end.

She is the most sought model in sari on ramp. She has done a number of ramp shows and catalogues with top designers like Ritu Kumar and Manish Malhotra. She has also appeared with Jazzy B in a Punjabi music video. This successful model set the ramp on fire for 11 long years.
