Aadukalam Naren Biography 
Aadukalam Naren is a noted actor associated with Tamil cinema. He excels in playing negative roles on big screen. After struggling in the industry for more than a decade in the industry since 1997, he got his first breakthrough role through Aadukalam directed by Vetrimaaran in 2011. There was no turning back after that, and Naren went on to become a leading character artist of Tamil screen. He also added ‘Aadukulam’ tag to his name, after he gained immense popularity through the memorable role of Rathnasamy he played in the National award winning film, Aadukulam. He also acted in Balu Mahendra's television series Kathai Neram.
His birth name is Narayanan. He was born on 17 October 1970 in Chennai. He made his big screen debut in 1997 film Raman Abdullah directed by Balu Mahendra. After that he played brief roles in a series of Tamil flick for more than a decade. But none of these offered roles were so significant. Thaayin Manikodi, Suriya Paarvai, Julie Ganapathi, Arai En 305-il Kadavul, Yuddham Sei, Osthe, Arai En 305-il Kadavul, Anjathe, Indru etc are some of his early films. In 2011, he was casted in the supporting role of Rathnaswamy for highly acclaimed film, Aadukalam. The movie proved to be a major turning point of his acting career, and he started receiving meaty character roles later.
He was later seen in Nanban, Saguni, Pizza, Kozhi Koovuthu, Sundarapandian, Udhayam NH4, Pappali, Jigarthanda, Megha, Salabham, Thirudan Police, Kaadu, D Company, Aranmanai 2, Rajathandhiram, Bairavaa and many more works. He got frequently associated with action movies and in a career spanning to more than 2 decades, he has appeared in nearly 50 movies. Naren’s performance as a supporting actor has been critically acclaimed in several movies in recent times.
