Aadhi Biography

Aadhi is an Indian film actor concentrating in Tamil film industry. He entered the film industry through his debut film Oka Vichitram in Telugu. His father is a director and has directed more than 50 films in his career.

Aadhi was born on 14^th December 1982 in Chennai in Tamil Nadu. His original name is Sai Pradeep Pinisetty. His father’s name is Ravi Raja Pinisetty. He completed his schooling at Don Bosco School. He then did his B.E in computer science and then was aspiring to become a pilot with an interest of exploring this world. He enrolled at Satyanand Institute of Acting in Vishakapatnam with the ambition of becoming an actor. It was during that time that he started to learn silambam. He joined the class of Pandian master where he happened to meet the film stars Suriya and Karthi.

One day, the director Samy came to the silambam class to see Suriya and noticed Aadhi. He then went to his house and gave him the script of the film Mirugam and Aadhi readily accepted that. Though he had performed in the Telugu film in the year 2006, this happened to be his first film in Tamil language in the year 2007.

Though his film Mirugam gave him a good opening, the supernatural thriller Eeram in 2009 gave lots of positive reviews and went on to be a mega hit film. He then got many more good chances that helped him to establish himself as an actor. He was nominated for Vijay Award for Best Debut Actor for the film Mirugam.

Some of the films that he has performed are Oka Vichitram, Mirugam, Eeram, Ayyanar, Aadu Puli, Aravaan, Kochadaiyaan, etc.
