Aadarsh Balakrishna Biography

Aadarsh Balakrishna is a Telugu actor best known for playing character roles. He excels in negative roles on screen. He was the runner up of reality TV show Bigg Boss Telugu - Season 1. He is known by the nicknames – Addy and Aadhi in film industry. He was seen in a brief role as a cricketer Kamal in highly acclaimed Bollywood flick, Iqbal in 2006. It marked his screen debut. He predominantly works in Telugu cinema, and has appeared in around a double dozen of films. He has done a couple of Kannada films.

He hails from a business family of Bangalore and was born on 10 February 1984. He has one younger sister, an architect. Born in Bangalore, his family shifted to Hyderabad when he was studying in class 3. Later he completed his school and college studies at this city and completed his graduation in 2006. He was a cricketer during his school days. He made his screen debut exactly the same year he completed graduation, and interestingly he played a cricketer in his debut flick, Iqbal. Though the movie was a commercial and critical hit, he completely switched to Telugu cinema, and did two Kannada films too.

Happy Days directed by Sekhar Kammula marked his Telugu screen debut in 2007. Since then he is fully associated with south Indian film industry, and came into prominence through a series of grey shaded roles. He played Sanjay, a senior bully in his debut Telugu film, and since then he mostly got similar kind of roles. He is a member of Telugu Warriors in the Celebrity Cricket League. Cricket is his next passion to acting.
