Lucknow the capital of the North Indian state of Uttar Pradesh is noted for its royal heritage of Mughals and Awadhs. Some of the tourist attractions worth visiting here are Bara Imambara and Bhool Bhulaiya, Rumi Darwaza, Chhota Imambara, Husainabad Clock Tower, Ruins of the Lucknow Residency and Museum, Ram Krishna Math, Botanical Garden, Buddha Park, Shaheed Smarak, Ambedkar Memorial, Globe Park and Crocodile Sanctuary.

 

Lucknow is famous for hand embroidered Chikan dresses. These dresses are made both for men and women and are available at all price ranges. This is one of the must buy items during your Lucknow visit. You can get a best bargain at the Nishtaganj, Aminabad Market or Hazratganj Market. However avoid going to Hussain Ganj where the same products are priced very high. You can also shop some electronic goods at cheaper prices.

 

The Mughal delicacies are served in hotels around Aminabad and old Chowk. If you are want to taste these non-vegetarian tikkas and kebabs these are the right places to go and you will find the great taste lingering in your taste buds for long.
