Madhuri Dixit was one of the best actresses of her times and had a charming face. She gave wonderful performances in her movies and has won many awards including Filmfare Awards. She had acted in over 60 movies and some of her movies were welcomed very much. One such film is Kal Nayak. This film was a milestone in her career and it portrayed the life of a terrorist Ballu. She is in love with the police officer who is trying to capture him. As Ballu escapes when the officer comes to meet Ganga, the part played by Madhuri Dixit, Ganga disguises as a street girl to capture Ballu. She comes to know of his good characters. She allows Ballu to escape and so was brought to the court for that. Ballu comes to know of this and wanted to save her from law and so surrenders himself and says about the innocence of Ganga.

Devdas is one of the best romantic tragedies in the history of Indian film industry in which the lovers suffer due to family circumstances and not being able to unite till the end. Madhuri Dixit performed the role of Chandramukhi who is running a brothel house. Devdas who was hurt by the love affair with Paro, seeks refuge in Chandramukhi. Paro makes friendship with Chandramukhi understanding her care for Devdas. Paro’s husband comes to know of this and forbids Paro from leaving her house. Madhuri Dixit has given her best performance in bearing the humiliation in the house of Paro and received Filmfare Best Supporting Actress award.

In the film Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Rajesh is married to Pooja and the younger brother of Rajesh, Prem and younger sister of Pooja, Nisha fall in love with each other. Their days go joyfully until Pooja dies suddenly. Nisha is seen by both family as the good mother of the motherless child of Pooja and they arrange the marriage of Rajesh and Nisha not knowing their love affair. Finally Rajesh comes to know of it and helps the lovers to marry. This is a touching story and this film holds the record for the longest running film in the Indian cinema.

The film Lajja though a flop is considered to bring out her best performance and skills. This film was a success in overseas countries. It is all about the sad status of Indian women. Vaidehi is a typical Indian woman who is affected by her cruel husband and forced to leave the house. Her husband meets with an accident and loses his capacity to give a child and so when Vaidehi is found to be pregnant he chases her and brings her to his house. But he has planned to kill her after her delivery. She comes to know of it and escapes from his clutches. She faces many hardships in her life. She meets Janki a theatre actress who is in love with her fellow man. She bears his child in her womb before marrying him but was harassed by the theatre producer. Madhuri Dixit played the character of Janki and the film says how she takes her revenge.

Dil To Pagal Hai earned her Filmfare Best Actress Award and is all about the love of two best friends and dancers Rahul and Nisha. Nisha suffers from the unreciprocated love of Rahul. She breaks her limb in an accident and she was replaced by another beautiful dancer Pooja. Rahul and Pooja fall in love with each other and Nisha comes to know of this. Ajay has been engaged to Pooja already. Ajay and Nisha decide to sacrifice their respective love and the film ends with these two people proposing. Madhuri Dixit played the part of Pooja and gave her lifelike performance that made Madhuri Dixit photos and Madhuri Dixit videos popular everywhere.
