The sweet smiling face of Katrina Kaif was inherited from her Anglo-Kashmiri parents. She is a citizen of England and stays in India to act in films in employment visa. As her parents were divorced at her young age, she was deprived of the love of her father and had the surname of her mother. It is after coming to India that she adopted Kaif as her surname from the name of her father, Mohamed Kaif. She belongs to a big family of six sisters who are also looking for a chance in the film industry and one brother.

One of her best films is Raajneeti which has a plot woven around the political background. She took up the role of Indu who is ambitious to become the Chief Minister. She wants to marry Ranbir Kapoor thinking that this will help her to achieve her dream. But Ranbir Kapoor arranges of the marriage of Indu with his brother Prithvi as he loves Sarah of American origin. His father is murdered and the son finally finds out the murderers of his father. Prithvi runs to save Ranbir Kapoor and Sarah in the car bomb. In this incident both Prithvi and Sarah were killed. Indu is made the Chief Minister after the election. The characters of Raajneeti represent the characters of Mahabharata.

India is a place where its culture and tradition is valued much. Though people go to western world for education or job, they have their roots in India. But some people change their lifestyle entirely and become one like western people. This brings many problems in their life and one such character was Jazz enacted by Katrina Kaif in the movie Namaste London. Jazz marries an Indian and confronts many problems due to their cultural differences and finally understands the value of motherland. She was critically acclaimed for her role in this film.

The film New York is released shortly after the September 11 bomb blast in New York. This changed the life of many people there and many innocent people were charged under suspicious. Sam, Maya and Omar were friends and the story revolves around how they become the victims of fate. Omar and Sam were charged for terrorism and were detained, but later released as there was no evidence. But Sam nurtured deep resentments towards FBI and wanted to become real terrorists to take revenge on them. When he was about to commit an act of violence, he was corrected by Maya, Omar and Roshan. The moment he changes his mind, he was killed by FBI. Maya was also killed in that attempt. Katrina Kaif performed the wonderful and responsible role of Maya in this film.

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is about the three childhood friends who meet in their later life. They meet in a party and have fun. The meaning of life is revealed through their interaction. The three friends, Abhay Deol, Farhan Akhtar and Hrithik Roshan meet Katrina Kaif and finally she understands that she is in love with the workaholic Hrithik Roshan. After a series of incidents she marries him in Morocco. Mere Brother Ki Dulhan though not a blockbuster is a special movie for Katrina Kaif. The rocking performance of Katrina along with the excellent choreography contributed to the success of the film. Katrina Kaif photos and Katrina Kaif videos became hot among guys after this film.
