Special Recipes With Mango

 

We all take Mango as a fruit or Juice or as a flavor for few desserts. But now we are going to learn about making sweets using this fruit.

Mango Rava Halwa

Ingredients:

Rava / suji – 1 Glass

Sugar – 2 Glass

Mango fruits -2

Ghee – 1 cup

Elachi / Cardamom – 4

Kaju – hand ful

Kismiss – hand ful

Preparation:

Remove the skin of the mango by pealing and then chop into pieces. Now make its juice using Mixy. Then heat ghee in a bowl and fry Suji/ Rava in it. Similarly fry Kaju and Kissmis in ghee. Now place another bowl on the other side and then add water and sugar in it. Let them boil finely until the sugar completely melts and then add fried Rava in it slowly by stirring. When the sugar syrup gets thicken then off the flame and add cardamom powder, Kaju and Kismiss in it. Later when the syrup gets cool, then add mango juice which we have prepared at the starting. Then mix them finely. Finally add little Ghee in it. Therefore, Mango Rava Halwa is ready.

Mango Rava Ladoo

Ingredients:

Suji / Rava : ½ kg

Mango fruits -2

Cardamom – 2

Kaju – Handful

Kismiss – Handful

Ghee – 2 Spoons

Grated Dry Coconut – 2 cups

Sugar – 200 gms

Preparation:

Fry Suji / Rava without adding anything in the pan. Then boil water in a bowl and add Rava in it. Let them boil finely so that the rava in it gets soften. Now add sugar and let it boil for a few minutes. Later mix ghee in it finely. Now off the flame. Then add grated dry coconut and fried kaju and kissmis in it.  After sometime take mango juice by chopping into pieces and using mixy. Then add this mango juice in the mixture. Now add cardamom powder in the mixture. Mix the mixture finely. Later the mixture gets solidified, so that you can mould the mixture into small lemon size balls and arrange in serving plate. Therefore, Mango Rava Ladoo is ready.
