The devotional places of Hinduism are Temples. This is the reason, why there are many temples in our country. You may come across small temples, big temples, and temples under the trees, temple outside the city or village and at anywhere. There are few temples in India which are very famous. These temples are very famous & richest temples among the temples in India.

                These famous and richest temples are mostly visited by rich people, celebrities, devotees from the whole world. The rich and famous temples in our India are Tirupati Balaji temples, Padmanabhaswamy temple, Shirdi sai Baba temple and Siddhi Ganesh temple.The Temple of Padmanabhaswamy was located in Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala state. The money and valuables offered by the devotes to the Lord Vishnu are uncountable. So now the Padmanabhaswamy temple is a famous as the richest temple in the India.

                There are 6 rooms in this temple. Among these 6 rooms, 4 rooms are with documents and valuables.  All these treasure are  related to Travancore royal family.

So let us discuss about few richest temples of our India.

1.  Padmanabhaswamy Temple:

This temple is famous and rich not only in India; it is in the whole world.

2. Tirupati Balaji Temple :

This temple is known as the Tirupati temple or the Tirumala venkateswara temple. It is the second richest temple in the world. This is located in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. Every day, 60 thousand people visit this temple. 65crores of treasure will be stored in this temple. It is said that this is one of the richest temples  among all the richest temples in India.

3. Siddhi Ganesh temple:

When we hear about Mumbai then we remember the Siddhi Ganesh temple. But there is another Ganesh temple which is a bit far from the Ganesh temple in the place name Titwala village. It does not look like south Indian temple in big size. This temple is very simple and small. But has a lot of demand to it as many thousands of people visit it.

4. Golden temple:

This temple is also known as harmandir sahib. This is one of the wonderful and holy temples in the world. There are the white buildings around this temple and a lake is on other side of the temple. This temple is coated with gold.
