Flowers are something which brings lot of changes in our mood. When someone wants to change their mood they like to visit a park or garden, and we all know that parks and gardens will be filled with different types of flowers which gives us a pleasant environment and pleasant mood. Plants give us fresh air and spending some time everyday between beautiful flowers and fresh plants gives us good to health and pleasant mood.

We find numerous types of flowers in this environment. But who don’t like to see their garden filled with beautiful colorful flowers?  One will definitely love to experience the pleasantness by looking at such flowers. One of such flower breed is Plumbago Flowers. These plants are around 1 to 3 foots in height they grow in bunches. The scientific name of these flowers is “Plumbago Auriculata”, it is also called as “Sky Flower”.

Mostly these flowers grow throughout the year. These flowers are in light blue color and they also look like plax flowers. The petals of Plumbago are very sensitive. With the sensitive petal and greenish leave these flowers look very pleasant in nature. Plumbago flowers are also called as “Plumbago Alba”.

These flowers look very beautiful in any place like beside water fountains, mud pots, open space, etc.  these flowers grows good in sunshine. The rays of sun help the plant to grow healthy. The specialties regarding the growth of these plants are, they require mud which does not store more water. If more water gets stored around this plant, the plant gets spoiled. So usually sand is added to the mud to grow these flowers.

In rainy season we have to cut down the branches of this plant and let the plant to have fresh air. The flowers grow on the new branches only, so it is preferable to cut the branches as and when. This plant has more medicated character and the insects accumulation on this plant will be very less. This plant takes some time to give flowers at the beginning. We can get this plant for Rs 30 to 40 in nursery.
