A great son of India is Subhas Chandra Bose, who is well-known as Netaji. He was a great freedom fighter. Such great country lover does not take birth again and again.

Birth date: 23^rd January-1897.

Birth place: Cuttack.

Father: Janaki nath Bose.

Mother: Prabha Devi.

Subhas was an intelligent student and always stood in almost in every standard. He felt great as an Indian always. His father was a great lawyer and from childhood his parents were his first inspiration.

He was a brilliant student of Presidency college and from there he passed B A examination. After that he passed Indian civil Services Exam and got fourth position but came back in India to serve the nation and took oath to free the motherland from the British.

First he joined in Swaraj party and was sent to British jail many times. Once he became the president of Congress party but his view was some different from Gandhiji and resigned from that post.

He formed Indian National Army and wanted Countries freedom by hook and cook.

For this he mate Hitler also. He appealed to all Indians,” Give me blood and, I will give you freedom.’

He was a great country lover and freedom fighter. He is still a role model to many young and Indians. Netaji was from Bengal also, but he liked to say himself as an Indian.

Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore liked him very much. It is our bad luck that after freedom we missed such country lover. His contribution – we can not forget. He visited many countries at that time with one aim which was India’s freedom.

His life was dedicated to country. He married with Emilie and gave birth of a daughter. His daughter is Anita. He loved Rosogolla which we get from his family back ground.

He loved to write also. He wrote many letters to his brother and sister-in-law. He loved his family also. He respected his mother very much, from whom he used to get the inspiration.

We should not forget such true soldier and the great son of Mother India. His thaught and works are the inspiration of us and may help the country to go forword.
