Manali My Favorite Tourist Place

Himachal Pradesh

Himachal Pradesh is perhaps one of the most beautiful places in the world but we could not take full advantage developing as leading tourist center in the world. The state is one of the several Himalayan states located in India that attracts tourists from all over the world but not as many that it could easily bring according to its potential.

The state has many beautiful destinations including Shimla, Spiti Valley, Dharamsala, Chhitkul in Kinnaur District, Kali Ka Tibba in Chail, Tibet World McLeod Ganj (Dalai Lama), Dalai Lama Temple Complex in Dharamsala, Kinnaur, Prashar Lake in Kullu which itself is one of the biggest tourist attractions and Sri Naina Devi Ji in Bilaspur besides hundreds of other similar places.

Manali

Here I shall describe about one of my most favorite tourist places Manali that is also located in Himachal Pradesh one of the most beautiful Himalayan states of India at a distance of about 550 kilometers from Delhi the Indian capital. Manali generally considered one of the most sought after of places for honeymooning couples is choice of nature loves like me a place with stunning natural scenes and vibrant weather.

Where to stay- Manali has number of hotels to suit every pocket but if you believe in luxury Manali has comfortable Log Huts managed by Himachal Pradesh Tourist Development Corporation with all modern facilities situated only at a distance of two kilometers from main town.

Him Valley Culture Park- Just three kilometers outside Manali is one of the most beautiful of parks I have come across in recent times. The park at the height of 6,000 ft from sea level along the Beas River has so much to offer for everyone. If you have children with you go to amusement side. If you love water sports you have them all in the park.

Jagatsukh is 6 kilometers away from Mall Road famous for its old temples this place was once capital of kingdom of Kullu. Move a little further the famous Arjun caves are right there. Solang valley is another place that may attract you for its picturesque setting and wonderful ski slopes.

Manali weather- March- June 10-25 degree Celsius, July to September,  heavy rains not advisable to visit, October to February 5 degree Celsius to well below zero.
