Lakshmi Ramakrishnan - A Multi Faceted Artist

Lakshmi Ramakrishnan is a well known actress in the Indian Cinema Industry. She started her cine career in the Malayalam film named Chakkara Muthu (2006). Now she is appearing in the Tamil cinema industry in supporting roles. Lakshmi Ramakrishnan is a treasure for the cinema industry. She did a negative role in the film Eeram produced by S pictures.

She is another lady director of Tamil cinema industy. She directed a film called AAroganam. She lived in gulf from 1985 to 2005. In Gulf she conducted many programs for children and women. She directed six short films till now after returning to India. She is a multi talented woman. She proved her talents in various fields like acting, direction and also in fashion designing.

She got a special Jury Award for her debut film Aarohanam.

She acted in many Tamil and Malayalam Language films. Her upcoming Tamil movies are Naiyandi (2013) and Vidummunn (2013).

She is currently anchoring the Zee Television reality show named “Solvathellam Unmai”. The programme is given a space for expression emotions of the peoples. It is a open stage reality programme. She has spearheaded few weddings. She tries to help the people for taking many decisions. She gave the judgement for the betterment of the future of the people.

In Kerala she is called as Devayani Teacher, it is the character name of the film Sakkara muthu. The film was praised by a wide audience. The film won many accolades.

Director Karu Palaniyappan brought her into the Tamil film cinema industry. She played a mother role for Sneha in Pirivom Santhipom Tamil film. She is a multifaceted artist.

“The Birthday Party” is one of the best short film of her which is telecasted in Asianet and Pothigai. She acted in 33 movies till now in the Tamil cinema industry. She even shaved her head for a very strong role in the film called Yudham Sei. It is really appreciable.
