After beating Australia two times in a row, it is time for Team India to go for the kill. Having taken an inaccessible 2-0 lead in the four match series, winning this match will be the final nail in the coffin to regain the Border Gavaskar Trophy. And looking at the form, in which Team India is, that does not look too difficult at the moment.

After Australia coach Mickey Arthur took stern disciplinary action against top players like Shane Watson, James Pattinson, Mitchell Johnson and Usman Khwaja, a major reshuffle in the team is one the cards. India too has brought in Shikhar Dhawan. So, there are changes in both teams and unfortunately, all for the wrong reasons.

After winning the previous two Tests, it is sure that India is not going to lose the series. However, confirming just is not enough. It is the Border Gavaskar Trophy and winning that trophy is another thing India is looking forward to. With the way things are progressing for India, it does not look impossible.

It should be mentioned that in a particular series, India has not yet been able to win more than two Test matches against the mighty Aussies. So, this is a golden opportunity for Dhoni and his boys to write a new page in the history books. Winning this match will also mean that India will be taking a 3-0 lead – going near the losing margin when India had lost 0-4 to Australia in the last series Down Under.

After a brief injury threat, Cheteshwar Pujara looks good to go. So, that is a big relief to the Indian team. His presence will be enough to inflict another blow to the Aussies who are already short of their best bowler in the tournament so far – James Pattinson. Peter Siddle will have a lot to do in these hot days in India in this Test.

In the bowling department, India has to choose between left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha and off-spinner Harbhajan Singh. Bhajji has not been performing well these days and only his reputation and history has earned him a place in the team. The availability of both spinners is a big plus and both can be devastating on turning tracks.
