“King of Pop” is the title by which he was called.  It suited Michael Jackson unquestionably.  He has attracted people of all ages.  His songs are popular among singers and dancers alike.  He was an American born on August 29, 1958.  He holds Guinness World Records for being the most successful entertainer.   His style of singing and dressing fascinated youngsters all around the world.

Almost all his songs like Gone too soon, Earth Song, Black or White and more have a history behind their making.  Songs like Beat it, Thriller, Billie Jean had made people dance.  Even today, we find people taking up MJ songs for dance competitions and winning prizes all over the world.

When he performed his songs on stages, the spectators went wild with passion.  The way he landed on the stage for each song was planned so carefully and every time the entry was breathtaking.  His dance techniques were unique and complicated.  Steps like moonwalk and robot became popular among youngsters.  Audience watched mesmerised when he performed on stage.  His dance technique was stunning.

He had won many awards given away for music.  Grammy awards, Grammy Legend Award, Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, American Music Awards are a few of them.  He was also the leading record artist of his time.  He had won hundreds of awards for the being the Best Selling Pop Male records. 

He was also a businessman and a popular philanthropist.  He founded his Heal the World foundation for helping the poor and the suffering.  He was known to have donated more than $300 million in charity.  He also had secured a Guinness award for being a pop star helping most charities.  His popularity as a pop star, his humanitarian personality, and his struggle to prove himself in the society created history.  Yet there are also some controversial aspects like his sex life, changing his appearance quite often through plastic surgeries, etc.

He was accused of child sexual abuse in the year 1993.  The case became a burning topic at that time.  But it was settled outside court and so there were no formal charges against him.  He died on June 25, 2009 due to acute intoxication.  The world mourned his loss.  Sales of his records shot up.  This proved that MJ still lives in the heart of the people, though he is gone too soon.
