Geeta Soujanya - Her Career In TV Industry

She was an ordinary female whose world was just her house and college. Once a TV anchor Suma had come to her college and she was welcomed with love and respect from many of her fans. Seeing this Geeta got inspired and started showing interest in the field of anchoring. At the same time it was her luck that her friend Prashanthi was already in the field of modeling. With the help of Prashanthi she started her career by working as a model for “Kalanjali”. Though her parents object her, but has they had confidence on ETV channel, they agreed and allowed her for modeling.

When she was doing her degree 3^rd an advertisement changed her life. One women told her that, a new news channel is going to start and they are calling for new readers and gave her a envelop cover to apply for it. Geeta thought, she does not know anything about the world other than her college studies, how can she suit for this job, but not to disappoint that lady, she applied for it. After 15 days she got a call from them calling for interviews. She was very much surprised when she saw thousands of people attending the interview. After 3 days she got a call from that channel that she was selected for the job as a news reader. Though she felt very happy, but as she was still studying in her degree 3^rd year, she was thinking about starting her career. But her mother encouraged her saying not to leave this opportunity. So this was the starting point of her career in TV industry.

From then onwards she never looked backward. She worked as a news reader for two years and also as reporter in TV9. As the channel felt that she will be well suited for anchoring, she was shifted to the job of anchoring with more responsibility. “City Bits” was her first program for anchoring. Later she did for “Entertainment Tonight”. After this she started doing interviews of famous people of industry. She got very much apparition for her way of talking and language. She started her career in many other channels like Gemini, Zee Telugu, etc. She is working in a program called “Cinema Junction”, till today she has taken interviews for more than 800 famous personalities. Her first interview was with Mr Mohan Babu. When she took the interview of Mr Nagarjuna, he commented her saying that “You are talking very nicely and I Love You”. Recently when she did hosting for her favorite singer Mr Balasubramanya’s program, he appreciated her saying “You are talking very good telugu” she says that she cannot forget comment ever in her life.

Now she is working for a cookery show in Etv which is a very famous program. By which Geeta Soujanya has secured a very good name and fame.
