Now a day Cricket is a popular game in everywhere. Many people play it while many also enjoy by seeing it. I am also a great cricket fan and also play it. I play and   practice cricket in our school with school mates. We have a big playground in our school.

One day a very interesting and enjoyable cricket match was held in our school ground. It was a limited over one day match played between the Teg Bahadur School and our school team.

We reached in the ground early and the opponent team also reached there quickly. The schedule of start was 9 a.m. The Teg Bahadur School and our team were ready to play. After entering of two umpires, two captains of teams went to toss with a coin. Our team won the toss and decided to bat first as per the decision of our think-tank. All players began to worm up and were shadowing.

Our two openers went to bat and all the viewers cheered them. There was a large crowd there. They started well and scored 50 runs quickly. I played as an all rounder. I batted well and managed to score only 30 runs. It included three boundaries also. At last our team reached 130 runs for nine in 40 over.

After lunch the opponent team went to bat. They also started good and scored some runs very quickly. One of the openers batted like Virender Sehebag. They made 80 runs in 20 over very quickly. Our bowlers failed totally that day and could not bowl as per their form. The opponent batsmen also batted well.

Unfortunately we were beaten by them by three wickets. I took only two wickets.

Win and loss are two part so we took it very sportingly. We felt sad and took oath to beat them next.

Our sports teacher and captain cheered us and we backed home. I played many matches in school but that was memorable as I performed very well in that match. Though we lost that match but I had been declared as Man of the match for the first time in my life. I was praised by all for my all round performance.
