Do You Have Target Tension?

 

New generation banks – the new face of corporate world! It provides every facility a customer wants. But what to do? In the aims of giving maximum benefits to customers and to reach new highs, companies impose huge pressures on employees. Though they give ambitions of bonus and incentives, the hard work needed to reach those goals is not easy. Most sad part is that, if performance goes down, his salary will remain there or decrease; he loses the annual bonus also. So, let me ask you a question, are you facing the same problems of work pressure and target tensions? Are you able to cope up with the existing system? I am sure, most professionals will say ‘no’.

 

Many persons start their journey in their career with infinite dreams of good career, success, money, car, home etc. They may take a few loans also, in the belief that they can repay it through the huge amount of salary they get every month. But if he is not able to reach monthly target, he will get scolding from his boss. His boss may even threat him to snatch away his monthly income or job itself. It pressurizes him again, giving negative thoughts, thus reducing his monthly performance. Monthly loans give him more pressure.

 

Conference call shortly known as con-call is another medium to communicate with a lot of subordinates. When scolding is public, it hurts anyone’s feeling easily. In addition to it, he may be pressurized more by his top officials. The only questions asked will be, “What have you done today? How many LI (Life Insurance Policies) have you done? Why figures are low? Shall I block your promotion? Give me your resignation letter”. In pressure, if he gives his resignation letter, it’s the end of every thing except a few debts he has taken!

 

It’s easy to reach targets in the first few months. But it’s not at all easy later to find new customers, in the case of banking job. Also, new targets are being fixed during every month, making it a non-achievable task. But what to do; each firm has its own policies and goals to achieve. After all it’s the corporate world! Companies offer good salaries, but what can a person do beyond his power, strength and time? Just have a thought!
