Very often we give a lot of money to architect to design the interior. In most cases, it is based on architect’s tastes and decisions, and you may not be able to give sufficient suggestions. Also your tastes and colour shades may not be included or matched with architect’s choice. Why so? Why can’t you design your interior? First of all let me tell you a simple tip. Every colour and shades of a room should have a common thing, either a matching colour or matching shape. Suppose you have given bright pink colours to one wall and rest with normal pink, you can add a lot of decorative in your room with bright pink. A painting with bright pink colour highlighted, curtains with shades of pink (you can give pink designs or pleats as well), pink flower vase or show pieces in your niches, pink colour chairs, table or settee or even a few pens or pencils in a pen case. You can also choose a few decorative items of variety shapes with pink shades too. The whole nature of your room will be changed.

Size and shape of the furniture chosen are also significant. Keep only few furniture and leave more space free. Also oval shaped dining table suits a rectangular dining hall a lot. Balancing is equally important. Every object of one side should be perfectly balanced with object or objects of same size or figure. Give importance to upholstery work of settee and chairs. Buy a few cushions of attractive colours and eye-catching designs too. Light shades for walls, curtains as well as floor and dark and matching shades for its decorative pieces – let it be the secret tip while you design your interior.

You can also use your favourite colours for highlighting borders or cushions. Surely it gives you a lot of happiness, positive feeling and freshness of mind. Place a few paintings on walls of your tastes as well.
