The death of Bollywood starlet Jiah Khan has brought to the fore the dark side of a human life. Gaining one’s love is not in anyone’s hands and it is a reality that she learnt the hard way. And if one is not destined to get it, one should be able to move on. This is what probably Jiah Khan was not able to overcome.

When the actress passed away in that unfortunate way, after hanging herself at her residence in Mumbai, she was just 25 years old. However, she isn’t the only actress to have died so young. There was another upcoming Bollywood starlet, Divya Bharati, who had also died an accidental death. Her death will always be remembered as a controversial one, as it could never be investigated if she committed suicide by jumping off the building or was deliberately pushed to death.

Taruni Sachdev was another such unfortunate name in the world of entertainment to have left the world totally unexpectedly. The sad thing is that she was just 14 years old when the child artist passed away. It was an unfortunate plane crash that took the life of this beautiful Rasna girl. It was in the month of May last year that Taruni passed away in a plane crash. She was seen in the film Paa alongside Amitabh Bachchan as well as in the Malayalam film Vellinakshatram.

Another name that strikes in this seemingly odd list is Nafisa Joseph. Nafisa was a very successful model as well as a popular VJ. Like Jiah Khan, Nafisa too had committed suicide and was just 26 years old when she died. The reasons for her suicide were stated to be differences with her fiancé. In 1997 she was crowned Miss India.

Kuljeet Randhawa was probably the oldest of these celebrities to have left the world – aged 30 years. She was a part of the popular TV serials like Special Squad and Hip Hip Hurray. The reason as per her suicide note was that she just couldn’t handle the pressure of the life and that’s why decided to end it. Kuljeet Randhawa was a model as well as an actress.
