Description

The Tamil Nadu State Election Commission came into inception from 15th July 1994.The State Election Commission is the Constitutional authority under Article 243K of the Constitution of India and also a statutory authority under Sec.239 of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994 and the relevant sections of various Acts of the Urban Local Bodies.
