The Sadarjung's Tomb was a marble mausoleum constructed by Muhammed Shah in 1754 for his powerful prime minister Safdarjung. He served as his prime minister from 1719 to 1748. The Archaeological Survey of India is housed in this edifice.

The building is the last architecture built during the Mughal regime. There is a huge dome in the center with four buildings and four water canals leading to each of them. The octagonal towers are situated in each corner.
