Parliament House of India is located at the Sansad Marg in New Delhi. This is a circular shaped building designed by Herbert Baker and the construction was completed by 1927. This has 247 pillars and is the place where the Legislative Assembly of India is held.

 

The Parliament House of India has three semicircular chambers namely the Legislative Assembly building, the Council of State and the Chamber of Princes. The dome is 27.4 meters high and the structure spreads over an area of 2.02 hectares. There is a central library located within the premises.
