The larger one is the copy of the smaller temple. These temples are very old and the larger one is younger and in much better condition too. One of the reason of the bad state is the tourists who climb on the wall and some even climb to the roof - just for fun, to show off or to have their photos taken. And to climb they step on the sculptures and artwork - the beauty of which they are blind to.
Elephant ride to the fort is very popular and is recommended because of the steep climb. A recent article in the NYTimes - India in 1,2 or 3 weeks also mentions the ride and recommends it!
This is the only eatery in the vicinity of the University which itself is located about 15Km away from the city.
The prices are a bit steep but still it does brisk business. Talk about location!
