Yuvraj Singh Biography 
Yuvraj Singh is an Indian cricketer and a member of the Indian cricket team since 2000 in the ODIs and since 2003 in the Test match. He served as the vice captain of the ODI team from 2007 to 2008. In the 2007 World Twenty20, he got six sixes against England. In the 2011 Cricket World Cup, he got the award, Man of the Tournament. His nick name is Yuvi.
He was born on 12th December 1981 in Chandigarh in India. His father Yograj Singh is the former Indian fast bowler and Punjabi film star. He came to limelight when he served as the captain of the U-19 Punjab cricket team in the Cooch Behar Trophy against U-19 of Bihar. In the final match he scored 358 runs at the Keenan Stadium in Jamshedpur. He took part in the U-19 World Cup in 2000.
His ODI debut was against Kenya in ICC KnockOut Trophy against Kenya. In his second ODI he scored 84 from 82 balls. He was in the Indian team that played 2003 Cricket World Cup. He got his first century in the match against Bangladesh in 2003. He scored 139 from 119 balls against Zimbabwe in Sydney Cricket Ground. He scored 110 from 114 balls in the Indian Oil Cup 2005.
He got Man of the Series award three times consecutively against South Africa, against Pakistan and against England in late 2005s and early 2006s. He made his Test debut against New Zealand in Mohali. He got his next opportunity in 2004 Tour to Pakistan. In the second Test at Lahore, he got his first Test century.
He hit 6 sixes in the ICC World Twenty20 match against England on 19th September 2007. He was the captain for the IPL team Kings XI Punjab in the first two seasons. In the third season in 2010 the captaincy was given to Kumar Sangakkara. He scored his first hat-trick on 1st May 2009 in the T20 cricket against Royal Challengers Bangalore. He was bought by the Pune Warriors team in 2011 IPL.
