Yash A. Patnaik Biography 
Yash A. Patnaik is an entrepreneur and a well-established television producer and screenwriter. Started his career in 1995 as a journalist, he has done over a dozen television series under his name, under his home production company - Beyond Dreams Entertainment Private Limited. His wife Mamta Yash Patnaik, a writer is also associated with it. Producer, Director, Creative Director, Executive Producer and CEO are various roles associated with this creative writer. C.I.D and Sadda Haq are his noted television works while Kaalo and Ra.One are his big screen works. His shows Ek Veer Ki Ardaas...Veera on Star Plus, "Sadda Haq" for Channel V India and Life OK’s Junoon - Aisi Nafrat and Toh Kaisa Ishq did well.
His production house BDEPL produces good quality television soaps for all leading Hindi channels like Star Plus, Sony TV, Colors, ZEE, Pogo and Cartoon Network and has completed over 2000 episodes. One of the leading television producers at present, shows Ek Veer Ki Ardaas...Veera, Sadda Haq, Junoon - Aisi Nafrat and Toh Kaisa Ishq were received well by television audience. He has also served as a Jury member of television awards several times, including International Emmy Awards and Indian Telly Awards.
Kalo is a full-length feature film which was screened at South Africa Horrorfest 2010, Cape Town and won two awards – Best Cinematography and Best Film. BDEPL has made an Uzbekistani film titled Mohhabatnoma which was a blockbuster in Uzbekistan. He is currently focusing on short films as well. Since young he was interested in telling stories since childhood. He started with non-fiction stories. Later he moved from non-fiction to fiction. Yash Patnaik, Chairman and CEO at Beyond Dreams, is a Symbiosis Institute of Journalism & Communications (Pune) alumni. Started the career as a journalist, later he moved to production houses. Sketching, writing and travelling are his hobbies.
