Vivek Mushran Biography

Vivek Mushran is a Bollywood actor better known for his debut movie, Saudagar in 1991 and the popular song – ILU ILU. The movie directed by Subhash Ghai marked the debut of Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala too. Though he later appeared in many movies in a romantic hero role, he was not able to sustain in Bollywood and still remembered for his debut movie, Saudagar. He was launched by Subhash Ghai with his 1991 multi-starrer "Saudagar". He was also seen in Subhash Ghai’s 2005 directorial venture, "Kisna: The Warrior Poet". Another memorable role of his career is the movie, Ram Jaane where he played main lead aside King Khan and Juhi Chawla, though the movie was not a commercial hit. Now he is mostly associated with television and handles both comic and serious roles. He believes Good TV is better than bad films.

Vivek Mushran was born on 9 August 1969, at Renukoot in Uttar Pradesh. He completed graduation from Sherwood College, Nainital. Soon after his studies, he was launched by Subhash ghai in the multi star cast, Saudagar, the movie in which Raajkumar and Dileep Kumar worked together. He was successfully paired with debutant Manisha Koirala. The successful Jodi was once again seen together in ‘First Love Letter’. Aisi bhi kya jaldi hai, Dil E Betaab and Anjaane are his other popular big screen appearances. Though known for his innocent and chocolate looks, Vivek couldn’t make it big in Bollywood.

He has also released one album titled, Kahin Kho Gaya. When he didn’t get significant roles on big screen, he moved towards small screen. Bhaskar Bharti and Baat Hamari Pakki Hai on Sony TV and  Ae Dil-E-Naadaan on Doordarshan are his popular roles.
