Vishwajeet Pradhan is a Bollywood actor known for negative and supporting roles. He has also acted in many television serials. His noted characters are included in the Bollywood movies - Yalgaar, Raaz, Karam, Zeher, Sangursh, Andaaz, Zakhm, and Lamhaa. He is seen as a cop in several films. He is married to a former fashion designer Sonalika Pradhan and the couple has two children. He is also a politician of the Samajwadi Party. No Problem, Bbuddah... Hoga Terra Baap, Chatur Singh Two Star and Chal Chalein are his recent releases. Dee Saturday Night is his upcoming movies. He plays the lead role of S. S .P Brahmanand Jakhar in television series - Maryada: Lekin Kab Tak? He played the role of Kalavati in in TV show "Ek Boond Ishq" – a woman’s role.

Pradhan was born on 11 September 1965. He entered movies in the early 1990’s and appeared in movies like Prahaar, Yalgaar, Vishwatma, Aatish, Bambai ki babu, Dastak, Dil tera deewana, Jaan, Mohra, Gunegar, Sabse bada khiladi, Auzaar, Gupt, Viswavidhata,Daag, Insaaf, Lahoo ke do rang, Aa ab laut chale and Fareb. He was mostly seen in action movies of Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar in the 1990’s. During 2000’s, he began to get more meaty roles and mostly seen in policeman characters. He has also been seriously injured during the shooting of movies like Rakht Charitra and No problem.

Though he is seen in cop roles most, he is not at all comfortable in being type casted. So, he always has a second thought before accepting a similar one. Already he has rejected many such roles. His upcoming movie is Sher, where he plays the challenging role of a cop.
