Vishal Singh (tv Actor) Biography

Vishal Singh is a successful model and popular actor associated with Hindi television network, best known for playing the Gujarati boy, Jigar Modi in the popular TV series, Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. He plays the male lead in the series, that’s being telecasted on Star Plus since 2010. In April 2016 he got opportunity to walk on ramp at Los Angeles Fashion Week. It is his first International Ramp show. As per rumours he is to work in a Hollywood TV series. He made his Bollywood debut with the movie ‘Traffic’ in 2016, directed by Late Rajesh Pillai.

He hails from a small town of Punjab. He was born in the year 1985. He started his television career in 2008 with the show, Kasamh Se where he played the role of Rishi Tyagi. Very soon he became a busy star in television and appeared in TV soaps - Kuchh Is Tara, Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil, Saath Nibhana Saathiya etc. He was also a contestant of the show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8, where Anita was his dance partner. He was also a team member of Box Cricket League in both its seasons. He also appeared in one of the episodes of the show - Comedy Nights with Kapil.

He made his Bollywood debut with the delayed project - Traffic in 2016, a remake of Malayalam hit with the same name. Vishal got opportunity to work with senior actor Manoj Vajpayee, and the actor admitted that he learnt a lot from him during film shooting. He also told that to perform in front of his eyes was very inspiring for him. He played the role of Reyhan, a journalist trainee in the film.
